"The carpenter crafts tools and furniture from wood. The tools he makes unlocks several other jobs."
The Carpenter is a basic job in Stonehearth.
Job Information[ | ]
A Worker can be promoted to a Carpenter once you have a Carpenter's Saw. The saw is crafted by a Blacksmith, although the Ascendancy starts with one for free when you embark. Once promoted, the Carpenter is able to construct their workbench and start crafting new items. The carpenter is the most useful job early in the game, as many of the tools needed to promote other jobs is crafted by the carpenter, along with many items used in the construction of buildings. Carpenters are easily distinguished from normal workers due to their red and blue shirts and their brown aprons. Other than that, Carpenters have the same needs as workers, and they will also help with construction of buildings and the gathering of resources.
